Fusion Gymnastics’ will host sleepovers 3 times
a year: Halloween, Christmas, and end of the school year. The sleepovers
are for boys and girls ages 4 -18. While at sleepovers, children will
do gymnastics events, jump on the trampoline, play games, piñatas,
have pizza and juice for dinner, doughnuts and juice for breakfast,
and various holiday activities.
At Halloween, we will have a costume contest. At the Christmas sleepover,
we will have a gift exchange and collect items for a family. The end
of the school year will have a water balloon toss. A good time will
be had by all. As the time comes, more information will be passed
out in the weekly Gymnast Reminder. If you have any questions, please
feel free to ask a staff member.

Let Fusion Gymnastics help you and your friends celebrate your birthday
with a fun-filled party in the gym. The first hour will be spent in
the gym playing games, jumping on the trampoline, and playing in the
pit. The last thirty minutes will be spent in the party area having
cake, which will be supplied by the host, and opening presents. There
is no need to worry because a staff member will be with you throughout
your entire party. There is a $50.00 deposit required at the time you
reserve your party. If you are interested in scheduling a party, please
pick up the Fusion Fun Pack with all the necessary information. |

Safety is our top priority. We, as staff, are always continuing
our training. First Aid Certification and CPR are important to provide
a safe, child-friendly environment because emergencies can arise at
any time.
The United States of America Gymnastics is the official governing
body for gymnastics. The USAG has a Safety Certification program that
we require all staff, both teachers and coaches, to attend. |

Our staff attends several different training clinics, which helps
us to remain current with the latest progressions, techniques, conditioning,
and skills. Training sessions that we attend include:
- USAG National Congress – a 3 day conference
held in different states each year. The focus is on the new skills
required for the upcoming years.
- Region V USAG Mini Congress – a 2 day conference
held either in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois, or Ohio, which
makes up our Region. The focus is on news for our region regarding
routines, deductions, skills, and new techniques.
- Indiana State Congress - a 2 day conference held
in Indiana. The focus is the same as the National Congress; it is
just a shorter time frame.
- IN-NAWGJ Clinic - a 2 day clinic spotlighting
judging. This is where the deductions, skill values, and elements
for routines are discussed. A person may also take the test to become
a certified USAG Judge.
- Kinder Accreditation for Teachers (KAT) –
a 2 day clinic to learn about teaching preschool classes.
The clinics are not mandatory; however, Fusion Gymnastics goes beyond
the norm to further the knowledge of our teachers and coaches. This
helps us provide the best learning environment for your child. |
